Have fun, stay fit, and support QARI's work in New York City!
Join us for a fun morning in Queens, NY in support of our local programs! Join us for a 2-mile walk and picnic in Flushing Meadows Park with your family and friends. Expect a scenic walk, fun activities, and a great community experience!
Date: November 8th, 2025 (Saturday)
Time: 11 AM to 2PM
Location: Flushing Meadows Corona Park
Starting point: David Dinkins Circle (5 min direct walk from Mets-Willets Point 7 train station.)
Registration fee: Free for all community members.

QARI’s NYC Walk & Talk Fundraiser is returning for its second year, bringing our community together for a day of connection, movement, and purpose. By supporting this event, you are helping sustain QARI’s literacy, social services, and health and wellness programming in New York City, including ESOL classes, food access and nutrition initiatives.
Held during Diabetes Awareness Month, the Walk & Talk is an opportunity to step outside, get active, and learn more about the resources and programs QARI provides to immigrant families across NYC. Your support makes a direct impact, ensuring that families and individuals can continue to access the education, services, and health programs they need to thrive.
